It’s been a bit as the pup and I have been getting settled into our new digs in Pittsburgh! On top of that, in the middle of everything, work called and I had to take a trip out of town. Though our adventuring has taken a bit of a break, we’ve definitely still managed some quality time together.
Before dropping Mira off at boarding for the week, we stopped in for breakfast at the Speckled Egg. I got a delicious eggs benedict and Mira was more than pleased lounging in the sun on the patio. The staff fell in love with her and on top of all the pets, they even brought her out her own bowl of water.
Soon after, I was on a plane heading to Washington D.C. for the week. No matter how many times I visit, I never get tired of our nation’s capital. There’s so much history, and so much to do! I’ve vowed to make the next 12 months the year of sports, so I managed to take in Nationals game while I was there! They got crushed, but the drinks and snacks were still delicious, on top of the fact that it was a gorgeous stadium.

The week flew by and the pup and I were back together. Mom guilt got the best of me and Mira and I headed off to the dog park for a few rounds of fetch. She was a happy pup, and as you can tell, she is definitely ready for football season just like me!
